"Support Jake's Ironman Charity Challenge on September 20, 2025!"
My name is Jake Greenwood and in October of 2024 I decided to sign up for the Ironman race in Cambridge, MD. Having never swam laps and not riding a bike since I was 15, I’m not sure why I thought this would be a good idea. But I got myself a bike, joined a pool, and started training.
Along the way, I discovered something unexpected: gratitude is a powerful motivator. On long runs, swims, and rides, I realized how fortunate I am just to have the opportunity to train for something like this. Not everyone is as lucky. So after spending thousands of dollars and countless hours in preparation for this race, I asked myself how I could use the experience to give back. The Zaching Against Cancer Foundation (ZACF) immediately jumped to mind. Zach Lederer’s story and his iconic strongman pose are powerful reminders to show strength in the face of adversity.
As part of my Ironman campaign, I’m asking you to consider supporting this incredible organization. Every dollar raised goes directly to ZACF to provide help for cancer patients and their support networks. No admin fees, no race costs—just impact where it matters most.
